Geocache Description:


At the given coordinates is a monument commemorating the H.M.A.S Australia II.

The ship served along side other Commonwealth countries in the 1940s, before being retasked as a training vessel in 1950. The ship was decommissioned in 1954 and sold for scrapping in 1955.
