A-ngola B-icycle C-ache – 2023 Edition. I am re-doing this series of caches. Some locations and hides may look familiar, some may not.
This geocache is placed along what I call the Angola bicycle/walking trail. The "trail" runs from the entrance to Pokagon State Park down into the business side of town. From there it weaves in and about all the way to Commons Park in a subtle South Eastern direction. The trail is paved the whole way and parts of it follow a traditional street sidewalk style. There are various parking spots where you could split this up into sections, bike a majority of it or you could move your geo-mobile about and pick through them that way pretty easily on foot.
1. Please log ALL location visits, including: Finds, DNFs & when in need of specific maintenance. Please do not log “Needs maintenance” just because you can’t find it. Coordinates may need adjusted after the first finders come through and give me an honest judgment on the coordinates.
2. BYOP. Forgot my pen logs will be deleted. You must sign the physical log to claim a find.
3. Park Responsibly. Whether you are on a bicycle or in a vehicle. Share the roadway and don’t stop normal traffic flow.
4. Any and ALL “backdoor” parking is at YOUR OWN risk.
5. Respect daylight hours, cemetery hours(when applicable) and business hours.
6. REPLACE HIDES EXACTLY AS FOUND. If you cant retrieve it, sign it and return it to where you found it, than this is not the game for you. IF something seems out of place, I will adjust the hide when alerted.
7. I try to rate my geocaches as accurately as possible. Some will be harder, some will be easier, some containers will be camo taped, spray painted & home made. If you feel the geocache is rated off by more than 1.0 point in either direction, please let me know.
