What to do/not do when creating a geocache, and what we learned from the experience. We will discuss different issues with each -- i.e. rain, time, wildlife, etc. What makes a good cache? And what containers you should pass on.
Making creative geocaches from everyday objects. Sometimes spending a buck makes for great caches. Other times the stuff is already laying on house works. We will also talk about the creative process and seeing the cache through to the publishing process.
Show us your SWAG Do you have fun swag/ signature items? Bring it along. We will discuss various items wehave used or seen over the years from hotwheels to marbles, as well as what makes "good SWAG?".
Open mic Q/A. Do you have a cache you want to test/ share with us? The floor is open to talking about Anything about cache creation/ ideas/ design/ puzzles. the sky is the limit.
I heard someone call this park Penguin Park. I don't know if it is a real thing or just a joke. But it sounded fun, so I'm going with it.
This seems to be the perfect location. I hear this is a great park. And there is a lovely view of the lake.
We will probably be on the patio. But don't worry patio is partly covered, if needed.
Anyone is welcome to attend! Events are a great way to meet fellow geocachers, learn about geocaching, and get involved in the geocaching community.
Event Caches last at least 30 minutes and are open to anyone. We will post the event for 1 hour, We will probably be there early and stay a bit later if things go as usual. (Bragging rights to whoever gets there first.)
