Geocache Description:

Do not go to the posted coordinates. This is a multi cache where you can go to WP#1 for some clues on how to solve the cipher or you may solve it by brute force if you prefer, your choice! See below for the WP clues.

My caching team and I recently completed a series of ciphers in the Nevada/California area by sujojeepers and I became very aware that I didn't know very much about solving them. So I thought I would educate myself a bit about the different kinds of ciphers and place some around. The final for this cache will be inside the boundaries of Clatsop County.  Enjoy.

At WP#1 there is a large outline of the coast of Oregon listing when several bridges were constructed.

First letter of the 3rd bridge listed is a ? and it corresponds to the letter I in the solved text.

First letter of the 5th bridge listed is a ? and it corresponds to the letter X in the solved text.

First letter of the 7th bridge listed is a ? and it corresponds to the letter M in the solved text.

First letter of the 9th bridge listed is a ? and it corresponds to the letter R in the solved text.

PUZZLE:
