Geocache Description:

This is the start of the Te Ku'o Trek. It is a nice hike, take time to enjoy the beautiful scenery and irrigated Taro patch.

While honeymooning in Raratonga, we discovered this little out of the way section of the island. This is the start of the Te Ko'u Track that leads into the interior of the island.

You will probably need a car to get to this location. You could walk, but it would be quite a long walk from the main roads. If driving: Go past the perfume factory heading clockwise around the Island. Take the 2nd right and go up the hill. Just keep driving into the interior. You are looking for the start of the Te Ku'o Walk. There is a picture of the trail head below.

Continue around the path a ways. If you reach the stream you have gone too far! Enjoy the scenery - if you are lucky you may see a rooster on top of the banana tree like we did!!

The cache is a glass mason jar with a gold lid.
