CACHE IS TEMPORARILY DOWN FOR REPAIRIf you've lived in the Wichita area for awhile..you may remember the big airplane on the stand west of Wichita Mid-Continent Airport off of Kellogg..this cache was placed south of where it stood. If you are a pilot, over the cache you'd be on a tight base for 19 Right.
There is some Poison Ivy in the area but if you come to the cache on a 90° from the south, you miss it all. Watch your step around the cement as there is rebar sticking out and it'll grab you!
The best way in, is to park at the elbow (Harry & Seville), step over the crossbar and walk along the gravelled road.
The Cache container is a semi-buried
cammo-painted PVC pipe with a cap. It was originally at my cache "2 Trees with a Message" that became "A Tree with a Message" and now is a virtual due to the fact that it was abit dangerous due to it's proximity to the river. Please consider the size of the container, if you trade. Initial contents are: logbook, pen, pencils, and Geo-paper. There are miscellaneous items to trade.
