GEOCACHE DESCRIPTION
This is a bonus cache in a series where cachers visit dirt and gravel roads (unpaved) in Harford County. See GCA82N9 for additional information.
The First Baptist Tabernacle Church is located in Whiteford, Maryland. From Route 623 travel West on Tabernacle Road. DO NOT TURN ONTO NORTH TABERNACLE ROAD.
Park at the Church which lies at the end of the paved section. The cache is a short walk from the parking.
If you decide to continue driving down the gravel section, BE CAUTIOUS! The road is narrow and not well maintained with loose gravel. At the bottom of the hill (.2 miles) there is a Creek to FORD or cross. THERE IS NO BRIDGE. There is little opportunity to turn around and you will NOT KNOW the water condition. TOO DEEP? TOO GREAT A FLOW? Take into consideration your vehicle and weather conditions.
