This is a letterbox Hybrid as it contains an actual (rather small) letterbox, it contains a letterbox stamp, and it has a postal theme!
Access via Pope Road. .... NOT the Freeway!
The Woodlands Mail series is located in a rarely visited section of the Monarto Woodlands Reserve extending along the Freeway from Monarto to Murray Bridge The recent addition of a new access point for walkers(at the listed car parking coordinates) has meant it is easy to explore this section of bush. While a lovely section of scrub you do have to contend with vehicle noise from the Freeway.
The cache is a small screw top container with a small letterbox under the lid. It contains a logbook, pencil and sharpener, and some small swaps. There is also the Letterbox Stamp that MUST remain in the geocache!
The series recognises great songs with a postal theme. Feel free to sing along if you know these tunes!!
