Once you have found the cache (it shouldn't be too difficult) take time to look around you, particularly if you are here in spring or summer. The meadow surrounding you is 'Clover Close'. In August 2016 the field was cut, scarified, and further strips of bare ground raked out. Green hay was spread to provide an environment to favour the wildflower seeds spread by volunteers which now bloom here anually. The wildflower meadow provides a habitat for butterflies, moths, beetles and other insects and is regularly monitored for species identification and numbers. It is planned to increase the size of the meadow over the coming years.
