Barabara Jean Hills was born in the Bangor area of this county. She married Howard Putman and together they had quite the life, in places like Maryland, Texas, New Jersey, and California. After raising 7 children and retiring from their jobs, they moved back home. They became very involved in the day-to-day of the Michigan Flywheelers Museum. Howard passed in 2005 and we placed a memorial cache nearby for him (Daddy Loved Tractors).
This cache is a memorial to our mom, Barbara, who passed on February 16, 2022. The cache is themed around many of the things she loved - her favorite color, her love of birdwatching, her fairy garden, and her vast collection of bunny figurines. Other things she loved were her Lord, her children & grandchildren, the porcelain dolls she painted and outfitted and those she acquired in her travels.
