Welcome to the 2023 Taconic Region NYS Park Summer Geocaching Challenge.  Please see MN 1 for details about the challenge.

Nathaniel Pitcher was the eighth Governor of New York, serving from February to December 1828.  He was elected Lieutenant Governor in 1826, and succeeded to the governorship upon the death of DeWitt Clinton. He also served as a member of the US House of Representatives, of the NYS Assembly from Washington and Warren Counties, and Town Supervisor of Kingsbury, NY.  He was born in Litchfield, CT.
