CALLING ALL GEOCACHERS!! WE WANT YOU! EVER WONDERED HOW TO CREATE OR PLACE A GEOCACHE? LET'S GET TOGETHER AND FIND OUT!
THIS EVENT QUALIFIES AS A "MAKER MAGIC" EVENT AND ALL GEOCACHERS WHO ATTEND WILL RECEIVE THE OFFICIAL MAKER MAGIC SOUVENIR!
10:00-10:30 Meet and Greet
10:30 - 11:30 EDUCATIONAL WORKSHOP - Who makes a great cacher? (Everyone but maybe muggles until they've been converted into geocachers!) Where to place a cache?(Obey the laws) What makes a good cache container?(examples shown) How to create and submit your cache page! (Actual tutorial upon request using our laptop computer)
11:30-12:00 Enter your cache for the "Cache Creator" contest (you know- those caches that may not survive in the wild but sure are cool especially gadget caches!!! 1ST PLACE REWARD IS A MAKER MAGIC GEOCOIN ALONG WITH A CACHE OR CASH PRIZE!!
12:00-12:30 LUNCH (TBD) but probably 
hot dogs and chips and bottled water.
12:30-1:00 Discuss do's and don'ts of geocaching and what makes a good container (with examples) as well as a good cache page.
1:00-2:00 Door Prizes and saying Farewell until we meet again!
An adventure lab, and some temporary caches will be available for this event to help increase your statistics and we've got some games planned as well.
This event is all about geocaching.
