First, let me tell you aboout the origin of the cache. Every year we have a robin and a wren build a nest on our patio. The Robin's Nest is GC9RDMX - a quick park and grab. Last year, 2022, a blue jay broke all the robin's eggs and scared the wren away. Upon clearing out the wren's house, I found three eggs. Since we already used the robin's nest, it was time for the wren's nest. No force is necessary to get to the log. Hold the bottom when you release the pin. What pin? Try the perch. It may need a little twist if it is stuck, but it does pulll out. Sign the log and put it all back together.
