Geocache Description:

Welcome to the GOAT Geoart!

Gillespie County has a long and storied history of goat ranching.  Angora goats were first brought to the area in the 1890's and were found to be suited to the rough, brushy terrain that struggled to grow enough grass for cattle, especially in dry years.  Prized for their mohair wool, these goats have been embraced by the area -- the Fredericksburg High School teams are known as the Battlin' Billies!

Solving these puzzles, however, won't require in depth knowledge of the goat business.  It's a different type of G.O.A.T. I'm looking for here!

The hides themselves aren't meant to be terribly hard -- most containers are preform (soda) tubes, bison tubes or Berty tubes. I tried to place these where there was room to pull off the road, but these are generally lightly-traveled roads anyway, so take your time and enjoy the scenery.  The logs for this series are custom made for each size & style of container.  NO LOG-SWAPPING PLEASE!

This is a Mystery cache.

THERE IS NO REASON TO GO TO THE POSTED COORDINATES!

Solve the puzzle and put your answer (last name only) in the linked Certitude Checker to get the actual coordinates.

You can validate your puzzle solution with certitude.

Congratulations to huggles44, Sparkyiv & thewildroseoftexas for being co-FTF's!
