Geocache Description:

You are not required to complete the challenge in order to log a find, however:

This is the Makakilo

!! Park to Park Challenge !!

The challenge is most definately not the cache.  Finding the cache is the easy part.  So, your mission should you choose to accept it:

The challenge is to walk, run, or bike from Upper Makakilo Community Park to here, the Palailai Neighborhood Park (reference waypoints for start and end points).

The distance between the start and end points is exactly 1 mile.  Of course to complete this challenge you will need to get to Upper Makakilio Community Park.  Conveniently there is a P2P Challenge located there as well, and the start point for that challenge is here!

You can locate this cache before or after your walk, run, bike to P2P (2), but don't log this one until you have a chance to track your return trip.

P2P (1) to P2P (2).  Start at the intersection in the sidewalks between the playground and the restrooms.  Start your timer or fitness tracker, exit the park and turn left.  Turn left at the lights on Makakilo Drive and head north until you reach the base of the last staircase at Upper Makakilo Community Park.  Don't forget to stop your timer/tracker!

P2P (2) to P2P (1).  Start here on the sidewalk at the base of the northernmost staircase.  Start your timer or fitness tracker and head south.  Turn right at the lights on Palahia Street and continue until you reach the entrance to Palailai Park.  Follow the sidewalk and stop at the intersection of the sidewalks between the playground and restroom.  Don't forget to stop your timer/tracker!

Include your time when you log P2P (2) on geocaching.com.  I will update the leader board (top 3) as appropriate per category.

After taking the appropriate amount of time to enjoy the view and recover, return here to P2P (1).  The start and end points are the same (just in the reverse order of course).  Once you return, log your find and time for P2P (1).  Again, I will update the leader board (top 3) as appropriate for each category.

Since I would not ask anyone to do something I am not willing to do, here is my run time from P2P (2) to P2P (1).
