THE CACHE IS A FIELD PUZZLE. It is not hard (for the faint-of-puzzle-heart such as myself). Replace cache as found and make sure natural camo is good--lots of little muggles run around here.
The trailhead is located off the parking lot between the soccer field and basketball court. This easy trail will take you to GZ--no bushwacking needed. Follow the path; you'll pass along-side the tennis courts. Make a hard right turn at the far left court corner and continue walking...you'll clearly see the Fairy Trail curve off to the left. Follow it to....? (NOTE: there is a RAIN WASH right at the corner; NOT a trail of any sort.)

I discovered this trail a number of years ago and it has always baffled me. It never changes--a clear trail that leads to one spot and simply...ends. A trail to nowhere. Or is it? Who comes here and why? What do they do here? I wanted to know! So...
I've watched and listened as evening slides in
And now I know why the trail has an end.
When all is quiet and cloaked in the night,
Woodland faeries awake and begin their hike.
Down the trail they leap and bound--
All are coming to dance in the round.
At the base where the sturdy tulip tree stands
They gather together and all join hands.
Surrounding the tree with their fey faery ring,
They cavort, they sway, they jump and spin.
Faster and faster 'round the tree they go
And brighter and brighter their wings a-glow,
'Til they burst apart like sparks in the night!
The faeries arise to their mystery flight.
Where they go and what they do
Remains a mystery to me and you.
It's the most marvelous thing you ever could see
Faeries dancing and spinning 'round the old tulip tree.
A secret I should keep but wanted to share,
with a hide and puzzle you will find there.
So when in the woods, watch what you do--
Remember the faeries are watching you!

Now you know who made this trail and why it ends at the tulip tree. Keep your eyes open--for the faeries are there keeping watch. You might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse.
Please replace the cache as found and make sure it's camo'ed so the muggles don't take it.
