These caches are placed along a loop in the north end of John Boyd Thacher State Park. You may start at either the Old Stage Road or Carrick Road parking areas, coordinates for both are provided. The loop takes you along the Fred Schroeder Memorial (red), Long Path (aqua green), and Perimeter (yellow) Trails.

The terrain is rated 2.5 with the hike approximately two miles (3 km) along well defined paths with small elevation changes. These caches are placed along the trail and there is no need to bushwhack. They are not handicapped accessible and are not recommended for those with mobility issues.
