One of the most familiar symbols of Christianity is the fish, or the Ichthus from the Greek word Ichthys. Followers of Jesus would use the two arches that cross as a tail to secretly communicate to one another that they were Christians. One person would make the arch in the dirt while talking and the other would add the other arch if they were also a Christian, making the familiar fish. Maybe there are some other familiar fish here as well.
