In a bid to share the lesser known parks of NW London with the geocaching community, come and enjoy a stroll in Roundwood Park in the Willesden/Harlesden borders area and collect our second hide for the park.
The park is a formal Victorian Park with English Heritage grade two listed status. It spans around 26 acres, part of the original area of suburban metro-land which was built up with the metropolitan line extension into this part of London in the 1930s.
Now enjoyed by a variety of local families and dog walkers, it is open from early morning to around dusk each day.
This second hide is over the other side of the park, near the outdoor gym and Willesden Cemetery, which may be accessed from further up Roundwood Road. The cache is accessible 24 hours a day and outside of the park itself.
