Another sweet trail by the Coquitlam River. This is a gorgeous and much cooler trail to hike during really hot days of summer, and even in winter, the good tree cover can keep you dry. The trail is very wide so people have plenty of room to walk and mountain-bike. As an added bonus, you rarely hear traffic noise and you are close to the river. All good except when you encounter bears, cougars, coyotes, skunks, slugs & snakes but these are rare & we all know they live there
Bring a pen , watch for wildlife & be nice to the park.
