We were in the New Denver doing some cache maintenance when we stopped to check one of the trails that goes down to where Carpenter Creek joins Slocan Lake.
There are a couple of ways to approach the cache.
There is a trail that goes along Carpenter Creek from Union Street in New Denver if you want a longer walk.
We approached from the trails that are beside the privately owner marina - parking waypoint provided.
Carpenter Creek was high at the time of our visit but not overflowing it's banks.
During high water you might have to wade to the cache due to little dip in the ground.
If the water is really high be sure to stay back from the River's Edge.
You are looking for a small pop bottle blank.
