I've been trying out various cache containers for Cachin' the Bay 2023, but this one didn't make the cut. I really like it, but it's too big and the color doesn't match the grass there, so I needed to find it another home. This spot on the Coyote Creek Trail offers a perfectly color-matched location just off the trail a short 5 minutes from the nearest street parking. You're looking for a medium Snaplock with larger custom camo. It's in plain sight, but please keep it covered at least a little bit so it doesn't stand out too much.
Coyote Creek Trail hours are 1 hour before sunrise to 1 hour after sunset daily. Dogs and bicycles are welcome. Don't be worried about the tall grass along the trail close to the entrance. It clears up and offers an easy route to the cache with no grasswhacking required.
If you'd like, you can walk about 18 miles on this trail. But you'll only need to walk about 1/4 of a mile round trip to get the cache.
