The power line access road goes in both directions from the Rover Creek FSR. Going up has always been less used because it used to be gated a short distance up the road. The road is showing more use now the gate is gone.
Went exploring up the access road, then started climbing up through the trees when the road droped down too far. Eventually, reached an old bike trail. Followed it across then down. Lots of trees down across the trail. Eventually reached an area where the trail is bing fixed up again. Good place for a cache.
The cache is tiny and evil but it shouldn't be too hard to find. It's wired to the branch of a young tree. Walk past the pink ribbon and follow your GPS straight at the switchback right to the hide.
Park under the power lines. Follow the trail you see going up into the trees. The trail is called Headache. Keep left, then climb the first short steep scetion [where the trail splits into two, left is easier going up]. After that the climbing gets much easier.
Batteries died so had to use phone to get coords instead of GPS.
