We were headed to Cortes Island today but unfortunately, the ferry we tried to catch had too many heavy vehicles on it so they were unable to let us and others on, as the ferry would have been overweight. So, we decided to wait until the next one which was two hours away. We figured we'd look for some geocaches while we waited but there were none in the area. That's when we decided to place one nearby so others can look for a cache while they wait. We got that done, walked around a little bit and then headed back to our vehicle so we could get on the next ferry but that was not to be. The next ferry was also going to be too heavy so we decided to wait to get to Cortes some other day. We spent the next few hours exploring Quadra and really loved what we saw. Very pretty!
You are looking for a camo'd pill bottle with water resistant paper. If you find it wet, just give it a wipe and sign as per usual. There is no room for a pen so please bring a writing implement to sign the log. No signature = no smiley. This appears to be a fairly busy path so please use stealth and re-hide well so it can't be seen by muggle eyes. Happy Caching!
