🇸🇮 Cerkev Svetega Duha in najvišje ležeče naselje v Sloveniji
Visoko pod ostenjem Olševe se razteza zaselek Podolševa. Domačini mu pravijo tudi Sveti Duh (max nmv. 1327), po baročni cerkvici Svetega Duha, ki daje zaselku svojstveno podobo, na prav poseben način pa s svojo pravljično veduto zaznamuje tudi Solčavsko panoramsko cesto.
Sedanjo cerkev so postavili konec 19. stoletja, na mesto prejšnje iz 15. stoletja. V cerkvi sta ohranjena gotski kelih in iz tisovega lesa izrezljan relief Svete Trojice, zanimiv še posebej zaradi Svetega Duha, ki je upodobljen kot mladenič z zemeljsko kroglo in ne v podobi goloba. V cerkvi je najstarejši zvon z napisom v starodavni gotski majuskuli.
Pri cekveici je tudi izhodišče proti znameniti Potočki zijavki.
🇬🇧 Church of the Holy Spirit and the highest settlement in Slovenia
The village of Podolševa stretches high below the ridge of Olševa. Locals also call it Sveti Duh, after the baroque church of the Holy Spirit, which gives the hamlet its own image, and in a very special way, with its fairy-tale view, also marks the Solčava panoramic road.
The current church was built at the end of the 19th century, on the site of the previous one from the 15th century. A Gothic chalice and a relief of the Holy Trinity carved from yew wood have been preserved in the church, which is particularly interesting because of the Holy Spirit, who is depicted as a young man with an earth globe and not in the form of a dove. In the church there is the oldest bell with an inscription in ancient Gothic capitals.
Church is also the starting point for to the famous Potočki zijavka.
🇩🇪 Kirche des Heiligen Geistes und höchstgelegene Siedlung Sloweniens
Das Dorf Podolševa erstreckt sich hoch unterhalb des Bergrückens Olševa. Die Einheimischen nennen es auch Sveti Duh, nach der barocken Kirche des Heiligen Geistes, die dem Weiler ein eigenes Bild verleiht und auf ganz besondere Weise mit seiner märchenhaften Aussicht auch die Panoramastraße Solčava markiert.
Die heutige Kirche wurde Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts an der Stelle der Vorgängerkirche aus dem 15. Jahrhundert erbaut. In der Kirche sind ein gotischer Kelch und ein aus Eibenholz geschnitztes Relief der Heiligen Dreifaltigkeit erhalten, was vor allem wegen des Heiligen Geistes interessant ist, der als junger Mann mit Erdkugel und nicht in Form einer Taube dargestellt wird . In der Kirche befindet sich die älteste Glocke mit einer Inschrift in antiken gotischen Kapitellen.
Cekveica ist auch der Ausgangspunkt für die berühmte Potočki zijavka.
