🌟 I came over today to Rotoroa Island to witness the releasing on Kiwi into the bush, it was quite exciting to see, and after that I had a guided tour with 10 other people around the island. It is my first visit to the island and so naturally off course, I picked up 'Alkitraz' cache and 'Coming home to a view' cache, the only 2 caches on the island at present - until NOW! I arrived by Fullers360 ferry. It left Auckland at 8am and leaves Rotoroa at 4 pm at present, but you will need to check their schedule to get the latest timetables if you plan to come: Fullers360.

Lots of history here too, I recommend the guided tour, it was fascinating. Milly was our tour guide on the day, and she lives fulltime here with her family. So she knows practically everthing there is to know.
🌟 I decided to place a cache here as a sort of welcome to the island, only thing is, it will amost never be free from muggles when you arrive on the island. So give a minute or two, biding your time, and then go for it. Same before you leave the island, come a few minutes earlier if you have to, to make the find without prying eyes. Enjoy!
