Take a lovely walk from "Molino de Quintin", past the Mud Baths in the salt flats of La Puntica in Lo Pagan. Enjoy the beautiful views and fascinating activity all around you along our favourite Walkway. Continue until you reach the second windmill, "Molino de la Calcetera (Ezequiela)". Admire the view across the Mar Menor and find the Cache. Happy hunting!

This cache is one in our Carr.Camino Quintin series of 11. We check our caches often and larger containers get loaded up with goodies. The larger containers are also great to place TBs, GCs and Cache Buddies into.
San Pedro del Pinatar (Saint Peter of the Pinewoods) is about 49 km from the provincial capital, Murcia. The municipality is situated between the Mediterranean Sea coast and the Mar Menor ("Little Sea"), a coastal saltwater lagoon which is the largest in Europe. The Mar Menor coast belongs to three other municipalities: San Javier, Los Alcazares and Cartagena. The latter is not by the Mar Menor itself, but in the Mediterranean. San Pedro del Pinatar occupies a small peninsula with 14 km of coastline between the two seas. The terrain is a mostly low-lying littoral depression, with an average elevation of only 13 m above mean sea level.
Take a lovely walk from the "Molino de Quintin" Windmill and past the Mud Baths in the salt flats of La Puntica, in Lo Pagan. Carry on along the Carr.Camino Quintin.
Continue until you reach the second windmill ["Molino de la Calcetera (Ezequiela)"].
These two windmills were historically used to power the saltworks (Salinera), although this is now done by electricity.Why not sit down and amire the view across the Mar Menor to the mountains on the other side. If you are there at sunset, the view can be spectacular. Good luck finding the Cache.
