Ile ja się naczytałem o Szwedzkiej Grobli… Mamma mia! Przesiew informacji wiarygodnych i niewiarygodnych był strasznie czasochłonny. W końcu z jednego źródła udało się uzyskać wiadomości, które były potwierdzone w kilku miejscach.
Podczas najazdów Szwedów na północną część Polski, Gdańsk był bardzo mocno ufortyfikowany i z tego powodu bardzo trudny do podbicia, przez co zawsze się od murów miasta odbijali. Szwedzi szukali więc alternatywnych możliwości, na zdobycie łupów wojennych. W 1626, wojska szwedzkie pod dowództwem admirała Karla Carlsona Gylenhjelma, przeszły z okolic Złotej Karczmy do Oliwy, tą właśnie drogą, która dziś jest zwana Szwedzką Groblą. Co ciekawe, mieszkańcy Gdańska nie byli zawsze przychylni do pomocy Opactwu Oliwskiemu i z tego powody zakonnicy musieli się ratować i uciekać za mury Gdańska, aż do końca wojny w 1629.
Szwedzi podczas plądrowania katedry zabrali wiele cennych przedmiotów, między innymi dzieła sztuki, ołtarze, dzwony, ambonę, chrzcielnicę, a także renesansowe organy. Według kilku źródeł, te rekwizyty można spotkać nie gdzie indziej niż w kościele Szwedzkiej miejscowości Skokloster. A renesansowe organy w tym właśnie kościele, są uznawane za jedyny z swym rodzaju eksponat tego typu w Szwecji. Może dlatego, że skradziony z Polski 😊?
Stojąc na kordach, wyobraź sobie całe odziały wojska szwedzkiego, maszerujące w stronę Oliwy tą drogą, aby zwiedzić katedrę 😉.

How much I've read about the road "Szwedzka Grobla"... Mamma mia! The process of sifting through credible and unreliable information was terribly time-consuming. Finally, from one source, I managed to obtain information that had been confirmed in several places.
During the Swedish invasions of northern Poland, Gdańsk was heavily fortified, making it very difficult to conquer. The Swedish forces always met resistance and were repelled from the city walls. As a result, the Swedes sought alternative ways to plunder. In 1626, Swedish troops under the command of Admiral Karl Carlson Gylenhjelm marched from the vicinity of Złota Karczma to Oliwa, precisely along the route that is now known as "Szwedzka Grobla". Interestingly, the residents of Gdańsk were not always supportive of assisting the Oliwa Abbey, so the monks had to seek refuge and flee behind the walls of Gdańsk, until the end of the war in 1629.
During the plundering of the cathedral, the Swedes took many valuable items, including works of art, altars, bells, a pulpit, a baptismal font, and even Renaissance organs. According to several sources, these props can be found nowhere else but in the curch of the Swedish town of Skokloster. Moreover, the Renaissance organs in that very church, are considered a unique exhibit of their kind in Sweden. Perhaps because they were stolen from Poland? 😊
Standing on the cache coordinates, imagin entire Swedish army units marching toward Oliwa along that route, just to visit the cathedral 😉.
The cache is located in a tree and requires specialized climbing equipment to access. Do not attempt to retrieve tree caches alone, always have someone with you, and inform your loved ones of your intentions. If you are unsure of your capabilities, it's better to skip it. I am not responsible for anything that could be lost, including equipment/health/whatever, during the attempt to retrieve this cache. However, I plan to organize an event every few months where it can be safely undertaken 😊.

Tout ce que j'ai lu sur la route "Szwedzka Grobla"... Mamma mia ! Le processus de tri entre les informations crédibles et non fiables a été extrêmement chronophage. Finalement, à partir d'une source, j'ai réussi à obtenir des informations qui ont été confirmées à plusieurs endroits.
Lors des invasions suédoises dans le nord de la Pologne, Gdańsk était fortement fortifié, ce qui le rendait très difficile à conquérir. Les forces suédoises se heurtaient toujours à une résistance et étaient repoussées des remparts de la ville. Par conséquent, les Suédois cherchaient des moyens alternatifs pour piller. Imaginez-vous debout sur aux coordonnées de la cache, en voyant passer des unités entières de l'armée suédoise, marchant vers Oliwa le long de cette route, juste pour visiter la cathédrale 😉.
La cache se trouve sur un arbre et nécessite un équipement d'escalade spécialisé pour y accéder. Ne tentez pas de récupérer ce genre caches d'arbres seuls, ayez toujours quelqu'un avec vous et informez vos proches de vos intentions. Si vous n'êtes pas sûr de vos capacités, il vaut mieux renoncer. Je ne suis pas responsable de tout ce qui pourrait être perdu, équipement/santé/peu importe, lors de la tentative de récupération de cette cache. Cependant, j'ai l'intention d'organiser un événement tous les quelques mois, où il sera possible de le faire en toute sécurité 😊.
