Most geocaches these days tend to be micros hanging in trees. I wanted to recreate the classic caching experience. This cache will take you on a nice hike through a state park. You'll find an ammo can at the coordinates.
Please ensure that you rehide it carefully! Ammo cans are fairly expensive and I don't want to replace the container more than I have to.
Follow the trails until you can't any more. Then go off trail for a short walk to the cache.
There is a secondary entrance to the park closer to GZ. I encourage you not to use it unless you have to. Walking through the entire park to get to the cache is part of the experience.
The Geocache Notification Form has been submitted to the Wisconsin DNR. Geocaches placed on Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource managed lands require permission by means of a notification form. Please print out a paper copy of the notification form, fill in all required information, then submit it to the land manager.
