Korona Środkowa (Front Borodino) to część zewnętrznego obwodu obronnego w postaci dzieła koronowego, wzniesiona w latach 1811-1812 w ramach rozbudowy twierdzy napoleońskiej, po 1831 r. zmodernizowana przez podwyższenie wału, wykonanie rawelinów, drogi ukrytej i budowli murowanych. W latach 60. XIX w. w wał wbudowano schrony a na jego koronie wykonano stanowiska artylerii z poprzecznicami, ok. 1900 r. wzmocniono betonem prochownię.
Pozycję główną tworzy ziemny wał forteczny, złożony z bastionu połączonego za pomocą krótkich kurtyn z dwoma półbastionami, oraz biegnąca u podnóża wału droga straży z murem Carnota, przed którym znajduje się fosa. Na koronie wału znajduje się przedpiersie z poprzecznicami, ławy działowe i droga wałowa, połączona pochylniami z poziomem dziedzińca. W osiach obu kurtyn umieszczono poterny prowadzące na drogę straży z wartowniami, do wschodniej dostawiono schron koszarowy wbudowany w wewnętrzną część wału, a w wewnętrznym stoku bastionu i półbastionów umieszczono po dwa małe schrony, mogące pełnić rolę podręcznych magazynów amunicyjnych i schronów pogotowia. W linii muru Carnota umieszczono sześć działobitni flankujących fosę – cztery barkowe i
dwie podwójne na skrzydłach korony – oraz 2 skazamatowane naroża przed półbastionami, w narożu bastionu mur przechodzi w galerię strzelecką.
W fosie w osi obu kurtyn znajdują się duże, dwuczęściowe raweliny. Pierwotnie posiadały one biegnący u podnóża wału mur Carnota, połączony na skrzydłach z kaponierami, kaponiery szyjowe i poterny prowadzące pod wałem na drogę straży – zachowała się tylko jedna kaponiera na lewym skrzydle lewego rawelinu i relikty pozostałych budowli.
Na zewnątrz fosy biegnie droga ukryta osłonięta stokiem bojowym, na załamaniach rozszerzona w place broni z murowanymi działobitniami – przed narożami bastionu i półbastionu mniejsze na planie podkowy, w osiach rawelinów większe na planie półksiężyca – zachowała się działobitnia przed lewym rawelinem, częściowo – działobitnia przed prawym półbastionem, relikty pozostałych działobitni i częściowo system chodników minerskich z wejściami w działobitniach i fosie rawelinów.
Na zapleczu prawego półbastionu umieszczono prochownię, przykrytą osobnym nasypem ziemnym.
Zadanie.
Współrzędne pokazują wejście do jednego z chodników minerskiech, ale nie musisz tam wchodzić. Z przyczyn obiektywnych nie zrobiłem tam kesza, ale dam waypointa także do innego wejścia do chodników, a nie są to wszystkie.
Udaj się na azymut 201.2 stopnia na odleglość 22 m i szukaj drzewa z pojemnikiem. Nie wpadnij do dziury.

The Middle Crown (Borodino Front) is part of the outer defensive perimeter in the form of a crown work, built between 1811 and 1812 as part of the expansion of the Napoleonic fortress, modernised after 1831 by raising the rampart, making ravelins, a hidden road and masonry structures. In the 1860s shelters were built into the rampart and artillery positions with cross-bars were constructed on its crown; around 1900 the powder magazine was reinforced with concrete.
The main position is formed by an earthen fortress rampart, consisting of a bastion connected by short curtains to two half-bastions, and a guard road at the foot of the rampart with a Carnot wall, in front of which there is a moat. On the crown of the rampart there is a forecourt with crosspieces, gunwales and a rampart road, connected by ramps to the courtyard level. On the axes of both curtains there are posterns leading to the guard road with sentries, on the eastern one there is a barrack bunker built into the inner part of the rampart, and in the inner slope of the bastion and half-bastions there are two small bunkers each, which can serve as handy ammunition stores and emergency shelters. In the line of the Carnot wall, six gun emplacements were placed flanking the moat - four shoulder gun emplacements and two double ones on the wings of the crown - and 2 shelters on the flanks of the bastion.
In the moat in the axis of both curtains are large, two-part ravelins. Originally these had a Carnot wall running at the foot of the rampart, connected to the caponiers on the wings, neck caponiers and posterns leading under the rampart to the guard road - only one caponier on the left wing of the left ravelin and relics of the other structures have survived.
Outside the moat there is a hidden road protected by a battle slope, which is widened in the bends into gun emplacements with brick gun emplacements - in front of the bastion and half-bastion corners there are smaller, horseshoe-shaped gun emplacements, in the ravelin axes there are larger, crescent-shaped gun emplacements - the gun emplacement in front of the left ravelin has been preserved, partly the gun emplacement in front of the right half-bastion, relics of other gun emplacements and partly a system of mine walkways with entrances in the gun emplacements and the ravelin moat.
A powder magazine, covered by a separate earth embankment, was placed at the back of the right half-bastion.
Task.
The coordinates show the entrance to one of the miners' walkways, but you don't have to go there. For objective reasons I did not make a kesh there, but I will give waypoint also to another entrance to the walkways, and these are not all of them.
Go to the azimuth 201.2 degrees at a distance of 22 m and look for a tree with a container. Do not fall into the hole.
