The cache is hidden near a stonewall under stones. It is not nessesery to enter privat property. It's infront of a "lost place" and reachable 24/7. It's the closest spot to the geographical center on public ground.
Locals said it would be okay (with respect to the animals, of course) to go to the exact spot, across the pasture. AT the exact spot: as it should be in Ireland: lots of green, a few escaped sheep, a swamp, stones and a broken car. The exact spot can shift over time, due to the breaking of coastal strips. But at the moment it is being defined by various statistics at the coordinates: N 53° 26.968' W 7° 30.178'

There used to be a cemetery. According to the people we met in the nearby village, there are also corresponding celebrations not far away around the midsummer fire ~21st of june, if we got that right.
For the FTF we put in a little pocket lamp and a toy for animals in case the FTF has more than 2 legs :-)
Please make sure that the logbook stays save and dry in the "box inside of the box"
There is plenty of space for things to swop or travel bugs...

Der Cache ist in der Nähe einer Steinmauer unter Steinen versteckt. Es ist nicht erforderlich, Privatgrundstücke zu betreten. Es liegt vor einem „Lost Place“ und ist rund um die Uhr erreichbar. Es ist der dem geografischen Mittelpunkt am nächsten gelegene Ort auf öffentlichem Gelände.
Die Einheimischen sagten, es wäre in Ordnung (natürlich aus Rücksicht auf die Tiere), genau an die Stelle zu gehen, über die Weide. Genau an der Stelle: So wie es sich in Irland gehört: viel Grün, ein paar entlaufene Schafe, ein Sumpf, Steine und ein kaputtes Auto. Der genaue Ort kann sich im Laufe der Zeit aufgrund der Aufteilung der Küstenstreifen verschieben. Aber im Moment wird es durch verschiedene Statistiken an den Koordinaten definiert: N 53° 26,968' W 7° 30,178'

Früher gab es einen Friedhof. Laut den Leuten, die wir im nahegelegenen Dorf getroffen haben, gibt es auch nicht weit entfernt rund um das Mittsommerfeuer ~21. Juni entsprechende Feierlichkeiten, wenn wir das richtig verstanden haben. Viel Vergnügen mitten drin statt nur dabei :-)
