松本城は戦国時代の永正年間に造られた深志城が始まりで、現存する五重六階の天守の中で日本最古の国宝の城です。
姫路城、彦根城、犬山城、松江城とともに国宝に指定されている松本城は、天守の築造年代は文禄2～3（1593～4）年と考えられ、
五重六階の天守が現存している日本最古の城です。
黒と白のコントラストがアルプスの山々に映えて見事な景観です。
11月には夜のライトアップがとても幻想的です。

The contrast of black and white is reflected in the mountains of the Alps and it is a splendid scenery.
The light up at night in November is very fantastic.
