🐸Welcome to a fun for all ages Maker Magic Creation Party at RoosterFrog Estates!! 🐓
🌟This is an Official Maker Magic Event meaning that all geocachers who attend this event will receive the official Maker Magic souvenir!!🌟
Come out to our house, RoosterFrog Estates, and enjoy a fun afternoon of geocache creation!!
We will provide:
- wood planks that will be pre-cut to build a birdhouse with (Or other wooden cache)
- building equipment
- acrylic paint with paint brushes
- misc. decorating embelishments
- varnish
- an inner geocache container with a log.
You will be able to create, build, and decorate your very own wooden geocache that will be ready to place as soon as it dries. (in those cases that are painted, etc. and need to dry.)
Event Time: 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
Event Location: RoosterFrog Estates! (3210 N. Old Trails Rd. Spokane, Wa. 99224)
Event Activities: Cache creating, cache building, cache decorating, cache building brainstorming, visiting, and TB discovery and/or trading,
NOTE: All Activities are Optional! You do not need to participate in any activity that you do not want to! Come to the party to participate or come to just visit ~ Everyone is Welcome! The only requirement to log this event is to show up during the event time and log the event log!
Cache Maker Magic FAQ
- Do I get to take my geocache home with me? YES!! You are building a geocache to take home!
- Do I HAVE to make a birdhouse or can I build something else? You will be given enough wood planks to make a birdhouse. However, you can build any kind of wooden geocache that you would like to build with your wood planks. You get to be as creative as you choose to be - as long as what you are building IS a geocache and is built during the event! LOL! *We will not be giving away free wood planks for people to just grab and take home. *
- **We will also have a variety of other cache containers available with camo duck tape and spray paint, etc. if you'd prefer just to do a unique camo job on a typical container rather than actually build one!! **
- Will the wood planks be sanded? No. We do have some sanding paper if you'd like to sand yours. While supplies last.
- Are you providing snacks or drinks? Not this time. We will have cups available for ice water, but if you'd like something besides that to drink, please bring it!
- Will the cache I build be ready to place when I leave the event? Yes....or No....that's up to you! LOL! All caches will leave here built, with an inner container and a log ~ so ready to place! But if you didn't have time to finish, the paint/varnish isn't dry yet, or you'd like to add swag, then you may have to finish it up at home to be place ready.
What to Bring: (1) YOU!! (2) A camp chair ~ most likely will not have enough seating! (3) A smile of course!! 😃
