So has this end-of-summer picnic really been going on for 20 years? And continuous even through the dark years of the pandemic. There have been so many that had made this their first event and have been back year after year. If you are a newbie to the game or have never been to an event then make this your first. We are friendly! I am hoping to have some door prizes and games from past years as well. The Event will run from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM. It will be held rain or shine and there are shelters. There is a play area for little ones with plenty of room to run around.
As in the past, I will have a grill there if you want something to cook on, but I do plan on bringing some Lewiston Lobsters aka Red Hotdogs and all the fixings. You are welcome to bring a side dish, dessert, or beverage to share if you want. Let's have a great turnout and meet as many new people as we can, as well as our regulars who make it to all the events. Dogs are allowed on a leash. Bring along a newbie to show them what we are all about. There are lots of caches in the Bangor area to make a fun and full day of caching. Hope to have a few door prizes to give out as well as the expected refrigerator magnets.
