41st Edmonton Girl Guides
Welcome to the cache hidden during the 41st Girl Guides' geocaching evening.
It is a small medicine bottle with a bison tube inside to help prevent the log from getting wet. It hidden in an evergreen (what else is new?) on a public pathway. Please remove the lid, not the cache. On Thursday, May 25th, 14 Girl Guides, and 2 leaders learned a little about geocaching. After a bit of a hands on demo in the parking lot nearby, the girls split into small groups and went searching for the caches along 97 street from 153 to 137 avenue. They planted this cache that evening. It was a jam-packed two hours. While some of the girls had tried geocaching before, for many it was their first experience.
What are Girl Guides?
Girl Guides are the girls aged 9-11 in Girl Guides of Canada. Guiding provides exciting opportunities to try new things and learn by doing, with other girls the same age. Guides have the opportunity to take the lead in group activities, help organize events and community projects. These girls meet new friends, learn new skills and have new experiences at Guides. They usually meet once per week for 90 minutes.
Congratulations to SiriYeh on getting the FTF.
