Must trek up sand dune to locate. Once on top, there is a good trail to the hightest point of the dune hill. Once at the hightest point, go west just over the crest of the hill for a very short distance. The cache is on the N side of an Antelope Bitterbrush surrounded by sage of all types. There is a trail right to the cache so if you are brush busting, you are going the hard way.
The county where this cache is located allows individuals to help keep trails clean similar to the adopt a highway program found in many states. This area is kept up by locals as well as thoughtful visitors. You can stack aluminum cans by the trash cans, or signs along the paved trail and volunteers or staff will pick them up and get them recycled. Trash goes in the garbage barrels along the paved trail.
