Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, saīsināti kā TMNT, ir amerikāņu mediju frančīze, ko aizsāka komiksu mākslinieki Kevins Īstmens un Pīters Lairds. Tā stāsta par Leonardo, Mikelandželo, Donatello un Rafaelo, četriem cilvēkveidīgiem bruņurupuču brāļiem, kas dzīvo Ņujorkas kanalizācijā un kopā ar žurku senseju Splinteru un cilvēku draugiem Eiprilu Onīlu un Keisiju Džounsu cīnās pret ļaunumu - Baksteru Stokmenu, Krangu un Smalcinātāju.
Frančīze aizsākās kā komikss, kuru Īstmens un Lērds bija iecerējuši kā parodiju par tā laika populārajiem supervaroņu stāstiem. Pirmo numuru 1984. gadā izdeva Īstmena un Laira kompānija Mirage Studios un tas guva pārsteidzošus panākumus. 1987. gadā Īstmens un Lērds licencēja varoņus Playmates Toys, kas izstrādāja bruņurupuču rotaļlietu līniju. No 1988. līdz 1992. gadam tika pārdotas bruņurupuču rotaļlietas aptuveni 1,1 miljarda ASV dolāru vērtībā, kas tolaik bija trešās labākais rezultāts.
Rotaļlietas tika reklamētas ar animācijas seriālu, kura pirmizrāde notika 1987. gadā. Tuvāko gadu laikā tika izlaistas trīs kino filmas un daudzas videospēles. Dažos Eiropas reģionos franšīze tika nodēvēta par Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles - vārda "ninja" vardarbīgā zemteksta dēļ, kā arī veiktas animācijas, dialoga un mūzikas izmaiņas.
Īstmens pārdeva savu Turtles franšīzes daļu uzņēmumam Laird 2000. gadā. 2009. gadā Lairds to pārdeva Viacom, tagad Paramount Global. Viacom pasūtīja jaunu komiksu sēriju, divas jaunas kino filmas un jaunus animācijas seriālus.
Slēpņa izlikšanas dienā Latvijas kino teātros sāka rādīt jaunāko TMNT animācijas filmu: Bruņurupuči nindzjas: Mutantu haoss, kas pārstāsta 4 brāļu stāstu ar notikumiem mūsdienu Ņujorkā.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, sometimes abbreviated to TMNT, is an American media franchise created by the comic book artists Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. It follows Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael, four anthropomorphic turtle brothers who live in the New York sewage and fight evil. Supporting characters include the turtles' rat sensei Splinter, their human friends April O'Neil and Casey Jones, and enemies such as Baxter Stockman, Krang, and their archenemy, the Shredder.
The franchise began as a comic book, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which Eastman and Laird conceived as a parody of elements popular in superhero comics at the time. The first issue was published in 1984 by Eastman and Laird's company Mirage Studios and was a surprise success. In 1987, Eastman and Laird licensed the characters to Playmates Toys, which developed a line of Turtles action figures. About US$1.1 billion of Turtles toys were sold between 1988 and 1992, making them the third-bestselling toy figures ever at the time.
The action figures were promoted with an animated series, which premiered in 1987 and ran for almost a decade. Three live-action films were released; the first, released in 1990, became the highest-grossing independent film up to that point. Numerous video games have also been released, including several developed by Konami. In some European regions, the franchise was titled Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, due to the violent connotations of the word "ninja". Animation, dialog and music changes were made to mitigate graphic content.
Eastman sold his share of the Turtles franchise to Laird in 2000. In 2009, Laird sold it to Viacom, now Paramount Global. Viacom commissioned a new comic series, two new live-action films, and new animated series.
On the day the cache was placed, the new TMNT movie was released in local cinemas - Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, which retells the story of the 4 brothers in the modern times New York.
