Welcome to Wilkeson!
In 2019, the county completed construction of a short path connecting the parking lot at the town center to a trail network that will eventually connect to the Foothills Trail and therefore wind through much of the Puget Sound region. Like many of the trails in this area, this path replaces a historic railroad route. At this location, the county built a new bridge deck and railing to span an old trestle, but left the original structure intact below.
There is no need to leave the trail to find this cache. While it is camoflauged, the camo is easily visible from the trail and accessible to someone in a wheelchair. You should be looking at the southwest side. Find the button and push in.
