The lost lake. For many years very few people knew about this lake.
The lake is a reasonable distance in from the road. The box is a 5 litre cake box and contains a number of goodies, as always I leave the box with a good suppl of things to trade, there is no theme to this other than it's location. There is a fence at the top but you can follow the fence around and there is a path where you can get to the waters edge. Be careful. The cache is not located near the water.
Be sure to follow your GPS track log when returning as the main track appears to continue on, but this doesn't lead back to the carpark. A right hand turn is needed where the two divide, a bit like a T intersection, the carpark track Ts into the other track, the two are the same width.
