This cache is named after the giant human stone heads/figures that are found on Rapa Nui (Easter Island)! These MOAI were carved out of solid stone sometime between 1250 AD and 1500 AD by the Rapa Nui People who are indiginous to this island in Eastern Polynesia .
This cache is found within just a few metres of a safe parking area. The main road can be busy, so be careful when entering and exiting the parking area. You are looking for a small container hiding a bison tube. Bring a signing tool!
