Geocache Description:

This is the second of our geocache series in the picturesque villlage of Stagsden.

Home once to famous Bird Gardens, however nowadays it's more popular for its farming and local farm shop opened in 2005, run by the Brown family, famous for award winning sausages, poultry and beef, and home reared turkeys at Christmas. They have a tea room and quaint tea garden to cater for walkers, visitors and residents providing refreshments snacks and even a cheeky gin or two!

There are many walks in and around the village, some linking to the nearby villages of Turvey and Bromham, comprising of public walkways/bridlways, moderate hills with beautiful scenery and wildlife.

The church of St Leonard graces the villages skyline, just up the road from where there once used to be the village pub, The Royal George, which has sadly been derelict now for some years.

Parking at the roadside is possible, therefore may be suitable for a 'cache & dash'.  Note it is a road junction therefore park & search with care.

This is a sneaky disguised micro cache, as such it's difficult to describe its size.  You will need tweezers to retrieve the log.
