Come and join us at St Mary's Church, Long Stratton to help tidy up the church yard! We will be joining a team of volunteers from the local community and there will be a log book for Geocachers to sign in the usual way. Parking can be found on various side roads or at the village hall opposite the church but please be respectful of residents. There is no parking at the church itself.
The plan is to cut grass, trim hedges/low-hanging tree branches and generally help spruce up the church yard after all of the spring/early summer growth. Please bring along tools if you have them (strimmers, sheers, secateurs, hedge trimmers, rakes etc.) If you have a lawnmower, you can bring that along too but it should be fairly robust as the ground is uneven. Suitable footwear and gloves are also recommended!
If you need a little persuasion:
1. Just think of that sense of satisfaction once the church yard is nice and tidy!
2. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided. There are also toilets available!
