This cache is named after the Ladybirds (or is it Ladybugs) that abound in the Mt Burr area at certain times of the year. They also have been known to infest the forestry fire spotting towers. The Ladybirds prey on aphids (a introduced species) that feed on the pine trees, when the effects of these aphids became evident it was decide to let nature take its course and ladybird numbers built up due to the abundant food source.
The track to this cache is quite good if you continue on from GCA2JZM. A writing impliment will be needed and the area is off limits on fire ban days.
