These caches have been placed to bring a smile to your face and be fun. To that, the puzzles for these caches are not meant to be hard. The containers are not hidden in devious manners. The longest walk to a cache (with few possible exceptions) If you are driving is less than 100ft
The Rubber Ducky Geo-Art is fully located within the Black Hills National Forest, specifically the Schroeder area just west of Rapid City. The head and body of the Ducky caches are all on full width roads and trails. These are dirt and loose rock. Some areas may require extra clearance due to rocks, mud, ruts, and if wet, 4 wheel drive may be useful. My suggestion is a Jeep type vehicle, ATV/UTV or Mountain bike, or even a nice long hike. Make your choice with the recent/current weather in mind.Â
The area is open to Hiking, Biking & Horses year round. It is also open to Motor Vehicles (High Clearance, ATV/UTV, Motorcycle) from 15 May to 15 Dec, weather permitting.Â
