Join us as we paddle out to Turnip Rock. The views are spectacular and there are 2 earth caches to do while you are out there. Want to go but dont have a kayak, there are kayak rentals right next to the park. Be sure to get there early though as they can be extremely busy.
Because we are kayaking on open water, the weather will play a big part in our days adventure. If the wind is too strong or it is raining, the event will go on but the kayak trip will be called off. The paddle out and back can take 3-4 hours or longer if you take your time. For map of the kayaking trail click here
We will be camping at Lighthouse Park as both state parks are full as the publishing of this event.
