Geocache Description:

This rather small tube container is tethered to a short stump right beside the trail. When I placed it, there was a nice long snake skin hanging in a nearby pawpaw tree. I have video from a few weeks ago when the snake skin was waving in the breeze much higher in the large tree. Snakes can climb trees.

This container is on the higher Turkey Hill Trail. It is absolutely not accessible from the flat Enola Low-Grade Trail. You have to be up. While you are up, realize that there are other caches up here as well as some Adventure Lab stages. Posted for my Energy Sources of the Susquehanna AL is up by Bainbridge but a stage is near the base of the wind turbines. There's a stage of Woosa's Overlooking the Susquehanna AL at the Turkey Hill Overlook.

Some people think this is a big hike. We did it both yesterday and today. We ran into a guy who was doing the loop 100 days in a row. The loop starting at north parking, out to Mann's Run on the flat ELGT, up Mann's Run, and back on the Turkey Hill Trail is about 4 miles. We usually see bald eagles. In the morning, the ELGT is shaded. Most of the Turkey Hill Trail is shaded. But it is not flat. Be prepared with water, snacks, and appropriate footwear. Coming just up to this one on the high trail and then heading back would probably be about 3 miles round trip. I didn't measure it.
