"...Can't touch this..."
The typically 13.1 foot and 500 pound hammerhead shark is unique for having a specially shaped head that grants this beast superior 360 degree, binocular vision and great electrosensitivity (aiding in the detection of preys' electrical pulses). Its head is not just useful for finding prey, however, but also for trapping them, too. Hammerheads will use their craniums to pin down what they find until the struggling prey is exhausted. Moreover, hammerheads have immunity to stingray venom, which proves useful in a wrestling match with this formidable animal. Lastly, hammerheads may hold secret answers to curing or at least preventing skin cancer since it has been found that these special creatures can tan in their usually sunny, shallow coastal environments without ever succumbing to melanoma!
