Ovim cacheom bih vas želio pozvati na jedno zanimljivo mjesto. To je mjesto i to ne samo s pješčanom plažom već i pješčenjačkom stijenom obojenom u crvenu boju. Sudar dviju zemljanih ploča ovdje je rezultirao naboravanjem i formiranjem planinskog lanca Velebita (koji se, inače, odavde vidi), ali je i nataloženi pijesak došao pod pritisak koji ga je sabio u oblik pješčenjaka u navodniku oznake. Zatim se, s pomicanjem kontinenata, ova zemlja izdigla iznad površine i voda je otkrila svoj plašt. Otprilike tako su nastale ove prekrasne stijene. Crvenu su boju dobile zbog niskog sadržaja željeza, koje korodira kada je izloženo vodi i zraku.
Obavezan uvjet za prijavu u cache je posjetiti lokaciju i odgovoriti na sljedeće zadatke:
1. Gledajući stijenu, razmislite o njoj i pokušajte napisati svojim riječima kako je pješčenjak dobio crvenu boju.
2. Pomnijim ispitivanjem stijene vidjet ćete da je to pješčenjak. Molimo objasnite kako je nastao ovaj pješčenjak.
3. Posljednji zadatak bit će slikanje sa kamenom i bilo kojim predmetom koji vas identificira. Priložite fotografiju svom dnevniku.

With this cache, I would like to invite you to an interesting place. This is a place with not only a sandy beach, but also a sandstone wall painted in red. The collision of two earthen plates here resulted in the folding and formation of the Velebita mountain range (which, by the way, can be seen from here), but the deposited sand is also under the pressure of the sand on the surface of the pješčenjaka on the marker. Then, with the movement of the continents, the earth rose above the surface and the water revealed its mantle. This is how these beautiful walls were created. The red color is due to the low content of iron, which corrodes when it is exposed to water and light.
A mandatory condition for logging in to the cache is to visit the place and answer the following tasks:
1. When looking at the rock, think about it and try to write in your own words how the sandstone got its red color.
2. Upon closer examination of the rock, you will find that it is sandstone. Please explain how this sandstone was formed.
3. The last task will be to take a picture with a rock and any object that identifies you. Attach the photo to your log.
