Ezra's first Geocache hide!
A traditional hide along the banks of the River Dart from Mill Pool in Stoke Gabriel.
There is paid parking nearby at the River Shack Cafe (see Waypoints), from here you will need to cross the Weir - check the tide unless you want wet ankles! This area is very mossy and can become very slippy, wear suitable footwear and always be wary of the tide times for your return journey. The walk to GZ should take 10-20 mins, however you, can continue along the banks for a nice scenic walk (around 45mins) there are also woodland trails nearby.
(I have rated the Terrain as 3 due to the Weir crossing and elevation of the cache)
The cache is about 7ft up but this is actually waist height once stood in the right spot.
The cache container is not a straightforward box, there is a certain way to open it, and the log is in one of two possible compartments ☺
Only those who sign the log can claim a find. Bring your own pen.
While in the area there is also an AdLab and a couple of caches nearby. 😁
