A XIII. században, román stílusban épült egyhajós templom keletelt, egyenes szentélyzáródású, XIV-XV. századi gótikus bővítéssel maradt fenn. Alatta kripta volt. A Lónyay család tagjait temették ide, de az 1870-es években kivitték hamvaikat a temetőben felépült új kriptájukba. A 2000-ben elkezdődött felújítás során különösen értékes középkori, feltehetően XIV. századi faliképek kerültek elő. Egykor a templom teljes belső terét boríthatták, mára már csak egy részüket sikerült a restaurátoroknak elővarázsolniuk a fehérre meszelt fal mögül. Szenteket ábrázoló falképeket és a népi naiv festészet sok bájos darabját láthatjátok.
The XIII. century, in the Romanesque style, a one-nave church facing east, with a straight sanctuary closure, XIV-XV. survived with a 19th-century Gothic extension. There was a crypt underneath. Members of the Lónyay family were buried here, but in the 1870s they took their ashes out to their new crypt built in the cemetery. During the renovation that began in 2000, a particularly valuable medieval, presumably XIV. century wall pictures were found. Once they could cover the entire interior of the church, but now the restorers managed to conjure up only a part of them behind the whitewashed wall. You can see murals depicting saints and many charming pieces of folk naive painting.
